Creative Challenge 271: Perception

How is your perception? Is this a photo taken at sunrise or sunset? Check  out the other entries here. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN ANSWERING MY QUESTION WITH YOUR COMMENTS BELOW. THE CORRECT ANSWER IS: SUNSET. SO TIM, YOU WERE CORRECT IN SAYING THE SUN IS SETTING IN THE WEST. DANETTE, YOU WERE CORRECT IN SAYING THE LIGHT ON THE WINDOWS IS FROM THE SKY-REFLECTION.

I dare not guess, let's just say it matters not to ne which is is as both are equally beautiful......so, my perception doesn't change
my view of the object.

Interesting answer to the question, quite diplomatic take on it.

It could sun set and sun rise , depends where you are at, somewhere on earth it is both

Clever answer, however where I live and took the photo it is definitely one and not the other. :-)

My perception is that we are facing west and the sun is about to retire. I see a light in the window of the home leading me to believe that darkness is anticipated whereas if it is dawn approaching the light would probably have been left off to enjoy the brightness of a new day.

Tim, I'm going to wait with the answer, after others have a chance to share their perception with us. Thanks.

Probably sunrise, although I am never up early enough to see the sun rising. We get more red and mauve in the evening The firy stuff seems to arrive in the morning.

Love your clever question though I don't dare to give an answer. I am familiar with sunsets but not with sunrises...

Thanks for your answers Pat & Belita, check back later this week when I'll post the correct answer. :-)

A grand question. Knowing which way is north would help with the answer.

I'm not sure if I'd call it perception, or just an emotion, but to me it has the feeling of a sunrise.

My post also poses a question :-))

Thanks MitchyLR, I'll check it out. Stay tuned for my answer later this week.

Sunrise. Just a guess...

For Tim:
I don't think those are lights on in the windows I think it is the reflection of the sky?

Dim Lamp said...

Thanks for your guess Danette, stay tuned for the answer.
