How is your perception? Is this a photo taken at sunrise or sunset? Check out the other entries here. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN ANSWERING MY QUESTION WITH YOUR COMMENTS BELOW. THE CORRECT ANSWER IS: SUNSET. SO TIM, YOU WERE CORRECT IN SAYING THE SUN IS SETTING IN THE WEST. DANETTE, YOU WERE CORRECT IN SAYING THE LIGHT ON THE WINDOWS IS FROM THE SKY-REFLECTION.
I dare not guess, let's just say it matters not to ne which is is as both are equally beautiful......so, my perception doesn't change my view of the object.
My perception is that we are facing west and the sun is about to retire. I see a light in the window of the home leading me to believe that darkness is anticipated whereas if it is dawn approaching the light would probably have been left off to enjoy the brightness of a new day.
Probably sunrise, although I am never up early enough to see the sun rising. We get more red and mauve in the evening The firy stuff seems to arrive in the morning.

Interesting answer to the question, quite diplomatic take on it.
ReplyDeleteIt could sun set and sun rise , depends where you are at, somewhere on earth it is both
ReplyDeleteClever answer, however where I live and took the photo it is definitely one and not the other. :-)

ReplyDeleteLove your clever question though I don't dare to give an answer. I am familiar with sunsets but not with sunrises...

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'd call it perception, or just an emotion, but to me it has the feeling of a sunrise.
