Creative Challenge 253: Instrument

Nice shot! Most probably he was from Hungary as that instrument is a mainstay in the music of the Hungarian gypsies...

that does look like a huge dulcimer of some sort...I bet it sounds wonderful
on a side note...check out the white shoes :)

Yes it was a lovely sounding instrument. Good observation Danette to see those shoes. :-)

I didn't realise that is a mainstay instrument of the Hungarian gypsies Belita, thanks for that information.

Great shot!! Certainly not an instrument you see commonly used with street musicians. I'd love to have heard it!!

Street musicians are very common here in the states, particularly New Orleans ,Louisiana....though not this delightful instrument. Wonderful Photo!
